The MediaTek Helio G99 is officially launched in May 2022. Helio G99 enables 4G Smartphones are expected available in the third quarter of 2022. Helio G99 accepts 4G gaming smartphones into the next generation this chipset enables great gaming all day, plus big cameras, fast displays, smooth streaming, and reliable global connectivity.

This chipset has given new opportunities to create gaming smartphones that last longer than ever. Smartphone makers can create slim and light gaming smartphones with crisp, high-resolution FullHD+ 120Hz displays, without needing extra DSC hardware.

Helio G99 is a 4G chipset that promises more than 30% power savings for gaming compared to the Helio G96 processor since this uses TSMC N6 (6nm-class) chip production process compared to 12nm. It also has slightly higher clock speeds. It features an octa-core CPU with two high performances.
