The MediaTek Helio P70 is a mid-range SoC designed to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency for smartphones and tablets. Announced in October 2018, it is built using a 12-nanometer FinFET process technology, which ensures improved power efficiency and robust performance for a wide range of mobile applications.
The Helio P70 features an octa-core CPU configuration with four high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at up to 2.1 GHz and four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A53 cores running at up to 2.0 GHz. This setup ensures strong performance for demanding tasks while maintaining energy efficiency for everyday activities.
For graphics, the Helio P70 integrates the ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, delivering solid performance for gaming and high-definition multimedia applications. The GPU supports advanced graphics APIs and provides smooth, high-frame-rate visuals, enhancing the overall user experience.
The chipset includes an advanced AI Processing Unit (APU), which significantly enhances AI-driven applications such as real-time image processing, facial recognition, and smart photo albums. This AI engine improves the overall responsiveness and intelligence of the device.
