Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus is announced as a mid-year upgrade over Snapdragon 888. The San Diego-based company kept the trend of launching mid-year upgrades of its flagship SoCs. It all started with Snapdragon 855 when a mid-year upgrade was announced in the form of Snapdragon 855 Plus back in 2019. Next year Snapdragon 865 Plus as an upgrade over Snapdragon 865 and now Snapdragon 888 Plus is here for all of us.

Talking about Snapdragon 888 Plus specs, It is based on the same 5nm TSMC fabrication process as its predecessor Snapdragon 888. The CPU is the same Kryo 680 but now the powerful cores are clocked at 3.0GHz. It was something that we all had expected. There were leaks claiming the exact similar specs.

The GPU is Adreno 680 with a frequency boost. Other than that rest of the specs are exactly same as Snapdragon 888. Nothing is changed the same Snapdragon X60 5G modem with up to 7.5Gbps peak download speed and up to 3Gbps upload speed.
