The HiSilicon Kirin 955 is a high-performance SoC designed for premium smartphones and tablets, offering robust performance and advanced features. Announced in April 2016, it is built using a 16-nanometer FinFET process technology, which ensures a balance between power efficiency and processing power for demanding applications.
The Kirin 955 features an octa-core CPU configuration with four high-performance ARM Cortex-A72 cores clocked at up to 2.5 GHz and four power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores running at up to 1.8 GHz.
