The MediaTek Helio X27 (MT6797X) is an upper mainstream ARM SoC designed for smartphones, primarily Android-based. Announced in late 2016 and built using a 20-nanometer process, this deca-core processor is configured with three clusters for optimized performance and efficiency. It includes 2 high-performance Cortex-A72 cores clocked up to 2.6 GHz, 4 balanced Cortex-A53 cores clocked up to 2.0 GHz, and 4 power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores clocked up to 1.6 GHz, all supporting 64-bit architecture.
The tri-cluster architecture is designed to maximize energy efficiency by assigning tasks to the appropriate cluster based on workload requirements. The Helio X27 also integrates a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, providing robust graphics performance for gaming and multimedia.
