The MediaTek Helio P90 is a high-performance SoC designed to deliver robust performance and advanced features for mid-range to premium smartphones and tablets. Announced in December 2018, it is built using a 12-nanometer FinFET process technology, ensuring a balance of power efficiency and strong performance for a variety of mobile applications.
The Helio P90 features an octa-core CPU configuration with two high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0 GHz. This setup provides excellent performance for demanding tasks while maintaining energy efficiency for everyday activities and multitasking.
For graphics, the Helio P90 integrates the IMG PowerVR GM9446 GPU, delivering robust performance for gaming and high-definition multimedia applications. The GPU supports advanced graphics APIs and offers smooth, high-frame-rate visuals, enhancing the overall user experience.
A standout feature of the Helio P90 is its AI Processing Unit (APU 2.0), which significantly enhances AI-driven applications such as real-time image processing, facial recognition, and augmented reality.
